Restoration Field Assistant

Restoration Field Assistant

  • Work as part of a team to remove invasive Arundo donax from various creek locations in Santa Barbara and Ventura County.
  • Gather native willow cuttings and plant them and Install and help maintain nursery grown native plants as part of a bank stabilization program.
  • Training will be provided as needed.
  • Needed September though November!

  • Conducts invasive plant eradication on Santa Cruz Island and various mainland locations.

  • Responsibilities involve a wide range of invasive plant removal techniques, plus GPS and photo monitoring

  • Training will be provided as needed.
